Cherry Blossom Festival

A gift of trees from overseas blossoms into our nation’s greatest springtime celebration.

To celebrate the centennial anniversary of the Cherry Blossom Festival, Mindfile was given the chance to capture the famous event and all who contribute to its timeless value.

The Mindfile team was contacted by Long Story Short Media to provide production support for the National Cherry Blossom Festival Centennial celebration in 2012. The annual festival attracts people from around the world to Washington, D.C. for the nation’s greatest spring time celebration. Mindfile provided all field production equipment and services on location at the Cherry Blossom Festival; capturing festival attendees, activities, performances, and interviews with the President of the National Cherry Blossom Festival, Diana Mayhew, National Geographic Museum Board Chair, Susan Norton, Downtown DC Business Improvement District, Rich Bradley, Destination DC President and CEO, Elliott Ferguson, and of course the Cherry Blossoms.
