The Women of Project Kesher
Making connections, becoming agents of social change, and transforming lives across the world.
“Kesher” means connection in Hebrew, and for the past 27 years, the women of Project Kesher have been connecting the Jewish women of the Former Soviet Union with those in the United States and Israel. Project Kesher gives these women and girls the tools to transform themselves and their society by investing in leadership training, in pilot projects, and in technology.
For the third consecutive year, Mindfile produced the videos played at PK’s annual gala in New York City, including this year’s hot opener, featuring the women of this non-profit organization. We interviewed everyone from PK’s founding member to two of its leaders from the Ukraine and Russia, shot footage PK’s “Global Day Trip” here in NYC, and sorted through the PK picture and video archives to produce the 2 minute video. Mindfile’s own Kate Epstein, who serves on the PK Board, had the honor of emceeing this year’s annual benefit gala, where she introduced the video to a packed house.
